Our story

Hi, my name is Diana. I am originally from Mexico but I have lived abroad 12 years now. I was always fascinated by the artisan work of the indigenous women in Mexico but I was not much into details until living in Switzerland where I felt curiosity to bring colorful pieces into this market with a contemporary design: under the concept of supporting the communities in Mexico so that they could still work their wonderful traditional techniques, using natural materials and natural colors.  But, the dream came true once living in Singapore where I launched Xiik not only bringing a piece of Mexico but Japan, which is also full of culture, tradition and handcrafted pieces.

Southeast Asia has offered me also the opportunity to bring pieces from Indonesia, where they work with natural palm leaves and wood, and the typical Batik design. Also India.

Hope you enjoy as much I do having a piece of this amazing cultures in your home.
